I seeeeeeeee you.
Here’s a few more snapshots of the day in the life of Molly.
I’m excited because Grammy, Aunt Kristy, Terry and Pop-Pop are all coming to visit. I’ll miss my parents, but they’ll be back soon enough.
Arrivederci! Bring back cioccolato!
Seriously Mom & Dad, happy tin anniversary! Ten years is a long time. Not as long as 22 years, but more official.
In an eggshell, while we were in D.C., the Easter Bunny came.
Marquette made it to the Sweet Sixteen, so Dad took me to Washing-town ABC’s. Then, Marquette made it to the Eight Eight, so Mom came and joined us.
We stayed out in the sticks with the Rathgebs: Brian, Colleen, Willie and my new BFF Maggie. It was my first sleepover, so I woke Maggie up as often as I could. It was also the first time a huge St. Bernard ate my coat. Callisto!
The highlight of the trip was seeing the Obamas house. It’s big and White. It must get lonely in there. I bet Sasha and Malia wanted me and Maggie to come play.
Yes, I know. St. Patrick’s Day was ages ago, but in Wee Molly’s house, it’s basically celebrated year-round.
Fad saol agat, gob fliuch, agus bas in Eirinn!
Hey everybody, long time, no Tumblr.
Sorry, about that, I take up a lot of Daddy’s day, especially now that the flowers are finally blooming. We had a long cold wet winter. It started way back with Sandy and didn’t end until after the first day of Spring.
Let’s say good bye to the winter of ‘ought-thirteen. Finally, it’s time for short sleeves and outdoor sippy cups.
Let’s put a button on 2012.
Happy New Year!
Wait, it’s Chinese New Year. It all makes sense.
Happy Year of the Snake! But not you Lucy, stay away from the serpents. They’d love to get their fangs on a fat rabbit.
The Christmas hits keep on comin’!
I should mention that Santa, and his minions Mom and Dad, was good to me. Thanks, Big Man.
Duck and green beans, a Christmas Eve staple… For Jews, Buddhists, Non-Believers, and now, Sauers.
The weather outside is still frightful for the most part, so Let it Snow, Baby It’s Cold Outside, Walking in a Winter Wonderland…
Still Christmastime in my book.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!
Okay, so we’re a couple of months late on updating the Holiday Tumblr 2012. You can blame Mommy and Daddy, or you can look at it as that one last Christmas gift that was left on the top shelf only to become a pleasant discovery in the dead of winter. Or, perhaps an early President’s Day present?
However you choose to view it, you are in for a treat. The following posts will be a random collection of all the fun I had last December. Our tour includes:
Breakfast With Santa (and the silly Blue Pig) at Congress Hall
Our Christmas Eve walkabout to the Rockefeller Center tree, the Grand Central train show, my parents beloved Knickerbocker Bar & Grill, and the Washington Sq. Park caroling
Our big Chinese dinner at the Peking Duck House, which was lively, fun and filled with the laughter of the Chosen People, nothing like the Parker clan’s meal
The Big Day! Santa Came! A bike! A ukelele! Chocolate! Neighbors bringing more desserts! The Yule Log on TV!
A visit to see Grammy, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Lucy in the Bunny in the wintry burgh of Westford, Mass.
Sing it now, “If everyday, will be like the holidays…”
